I built myself a workshop

TL;DR

In seeking a project and a space to do future projects, I built a finished work space. This started with a CAD model and a little help from a friend who was more familiar with SketchUp. Everything was done from the ground up. The building is ~100 sq. ft. has working electrical to code, in-wall ethernet that's connected to the home network, and a bunch of thermal insulation. I'm pretty proud of this one.

Longer Version

I'd love to write more and reflect more on this later. In the meantime, to get through the backlog, here's the résumé style version.

  • Modeled shed in SketchUp out of purchaseable components.
  • Leveled ground.
  • Ran electrical to code.
  • Ran ethernet.
  • Painted, drywalled, etc. the whole shebang!
